Our Mission

Plum Landing is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and has been in operation since 1962. It is our mission to provide a secure environment for active mature adults who want to live independently, where individualism is encouraged and respected.

Our residents are a diverse group of men and women. They are often described as fiercely independent. They share an understanding that this stage of life can be a good one and life is what you make of it!

The average length of service at Plum Landing for our core staff is over 12 years The experienced and caring staff is the key to trust that equates to a high level of contentment experienced by residents and their families.
