The Reception Desk
The receptionist, located in the main lobby, provides many services for residents including making dining room or courtesy car reservations, filling out maintenance requests, postal services and more. Guests are cheerfully greeted, then announced to the resident via the intercom in their apartment. Our receptionists also complete daily well-being checks every morning and evening.
Restaurant Style Dining
Plum Landing has a well-deserved reputation for its pleasurable, “five-star” dining experience. Lunch and dinner are prepared in our kitchen by our chef and his experienced staff. The hostess and wait staff provide attentive, courteous service to assure a pleasant dining experience for our residents and their guests.
Transportation
Plum Landing offers transportation via our courtesy car or bus. Our driver will take you to your desired destination and pick you up when you are ready to return for an additional charge. In addition, several complimentary shopping trips are offered each week.
Activity Program
From Coffee Hour to Happy Hour, Plum Landing offers a wide selection of social opportunities. Residents enjoy cards, bingo, exercise class, Wii bowling, going out to lunch/breakfast, onsite entertainment, and much more.
Laundry
Our laundry room is available for residents who choose to do their own laundry at no charge. Laundry services are available upon request for an additional fee and can be scheduled on a regular basis.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
Apartment maintenance is provided by our experienced staff and included in our monthly fee. A member of our maintenance staff is on call at all times in the event of an emergency. Twice monthly housekeeping services are also included in the monthly fee.

Professional beautician services are available weekly on site in our Salon.
Country Store
For incidentals in-between shopping trips; residents can request special items which can be picked up weekly.
Queenan Chapel
Services are held every Sunday with help from our volunteer’s from surrounding community churches.
Library
The library features large print books and plays host to our monthly book club. We also have a partnership with the Aurora Public Library, who brings us new, large print books, each month.
Stone House Party Room
The Stone House is a well known landmark in Aurora, once housed our founding family. It offers a great space for to host parties, or special events.
Guest Accommodations
If you have guests coming in from out of town, check with our office and see if one of our guest rooms are available. We also offer roll-away beds if you wish to have family stay in your apartment.
